Ok, I have been a HUGE fan of Biggest Loser for last 7 seasons and was always intrigued by the device they wear on their arms. When I searched and found the Body Bugg on here, I was impressed with what it is capable of. Then I had remembered seeing someting on Weekend Today show about similar product. Thing was, I knew it was not the Body Bugg but could not remember what it was called, nor could I find a link on Today show website for that particular segment.
I kind of gave up and then MONTHS later decided to search Amazon.. I decided to bite the bullet and get the Body Bugg. Luckily for me, other options came up including the GoWear Fit device. I read the positive reviews for it and that decided it for me! I placed my order right away.
I am very happy with it and I also purchased the display device and wear it clipped to my pocket. Unfortunately I have not been good about tracking food intake on the site, I got frustrated with not finding some foods I had eaten being listed... In my search for calories however, I did stumble on another fantastic site for logging food that is free, it is Daily Plate.com and is part of the LiveStrong website.. you can even get exact nutritional information from that site to put in on the GoWEar site if you are unable to find certain foods.
What sold me on the GoWear device over the BodyBugg was being able to track sleep efficiency (or in my case lack thereof). Wow! that is an eye opener.. I know that studies show that good quality and quantity of sleep really helps with weight loss. I am tracking my food, good and bad and know what I need to do to make improvements in my diet and get back to healthy eating and weight loss. It is nice to know that increasing movement, even fidgeting will help burn more calories.
In summary, I LOVE the device and am happy I made the purchase, it is well worth it! Thanks Amazon!
