I purchased the GoWear Fit armband in mid-March and began using it March 26th. Since then I have lost 10.5 lbs. The whole system of the armband keeping track of calories burned, steps taken, activity measurement, and the online logging of food intake is great. It has made me more aware of what I am consuming and that exercise is the key to sustaining weightloss and a healthier lifestyle. I am the type of person who needs a little structure for weightloss and this system definitely does the job. The armband took a little getting used to, but now I don't even notice it is on. I did not purchase the display unit due to its high price tag. I thought I would first try the armband and see if I would want to later purchase the display unit and try to see if the price would go down. Now having used the armband for 2 months, I really do not find the need to purchase the display unit. I plug in the armband to upload the data to the computer before I go to sleep and when I wake up in the morning. I can however see the benefit of the display unit if one needs even more structure and motivation to keep exercising. Amazon has great customer service and shipped promptly.
